...if your light dies...

...we have to draw the colours to the skies...
forgot my key, was trapped in the attic,
fell in love with

Her piano garnished voice is the perfect soundtrack while being lost. May it be on the subway, in the woods, somewhere else in this universe or in the attic.

the opposite of reality

I get lost a lot, but find my way back everytime somehow.
Invented a new "game" to explore this city.
I pick random people on the street, that look interesting and then I follow them for a good while. You find really sweet and unexpected corners all the time doing this.
Maybe it's because of the people I pick or maybe because there are so many amazing things to discover in Paris.

Still I'm affraid that homesickness will hit me one moment unexpected.
But that's the thing about all kind of feelings, isn't it?
They hit you unexpected.

Nostalgia...

It's a weird state I seem to be in at the moment.
Homeless a little, already in Paris, but my mind haven't arrived yet. It's like waking up every five minutes thinking:
Right. Paris!

Music squires me everywhere.
Old sweet music with sizzling niose in the background, that makes you feel like wandering through vintage postcards.
Expecting Dandies with mustaches and glamourus couture waiting round the next corner, offering you a cigarette or asking for a dance.
But I haven't met Truffaut, Picasso or Simone de Beauvoir yet or even found the stairs from
"Midnight in Paris"
and so all I have is
Cole Porter or Joséphine Baker singing for me from time to time to beautify my daydreams.

late summer pearls and early autumn leaves

Time is running way too fast as usual and I'm lost between half packed boxes with summer dresses, winter coats, bonboncoloured shoes and books.
Moving to Paris tomorrow.

Do I have an appartement yet? - No.
Do I speak french very well? - No.
Do I have a plan at all? - No.

And nevertheless I'm excited as little children facing the first snow.

There will be adventures, bubbles, beautiful sights and boys, la musique et une fille prodigue.
Streetmusic, pique-niques sur la Seine et douceurs.

It will be wonderful so why am I still scared.

Life is easy as pie...

...but as soon as you add some reality everything is getting mixed up in a whole coloured mess formally known as
chaos...
